The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Cross River, Sen. John Owan Enoh has appealed to the people of Obanliku to massively come out on election day to cast their votes for the party saying “When my people elect me, I don’t wait for another election before I visit them”.

Sen. Owan in a town hall meeting with traditional rulers of all the wards in the local government held on Monday said “I am appealing for your support. On election day, go out to vote for us”. He assured them his administration will bring about the desired development that the local government yearns for.

Also addressing the crowd gathered at Sankwala, the local government headquarters, Sen. Owan stated ” When you elect me as governor, I will do everything you have included in the list your people handed over to me”. He added “As your Paramount ruler has said since you elected governor Ayade, he has not visited Obanliku. I bring you a message of hope that Cross River will be better for all of us”.

The paramount ruler HRH Emis Etim who presided over the town hall meeting noted that Obanliku is in dire need of development saying “Is like he knows the problems of Obanliku”.
He added that as chiefs, they are nonpartisan saying “All the parties belong to the chiefs. We are nonpartisan. It shouldn’t be a do or die affair. That thing you have in mind to develop this place, bring it. We want North, Central and South to be one”.

On his part, an illustrious son of the soil, Ntufan Fidelis Ugbo admonished the people to support Sen. Owan saying ” We cannot sit back and see our state being destroyed. Today he has come with a direction and plan that will take Cross River to the next level”.
